About the festival

Midsummer Comedy Fest returns June 24th - 28th, 2026, building on last year’s hit premiere with comedians from Stockholm, LA, Gothenburg, Berlin, Copenhagen, Seattle, and more.

The festival is proudly hosted by Presens Impro, a Stockholm-based comedy collective with two theaters: PIK Vasastan and PIK Kransen. We create improv and sketch shows, run classes, and produce comedy for clients across the entertainment industry.

Presens is led by My Gudmundsdotter and Erik Broström, a duo with twenty years of experience in comedy—on stage, on screen, and at the forefront of Sweden’s improv scene.

You’re in the right place! Whatever your style—stand-up, sketch, musical comedy, burlesque, improv, or something totally unexpected—this festival has room for you. Our roots are in game-based, organic improv, but we celebrate all forms of comedy. Surprise us, experiment, make us laugh.

The only rule: it’s got to be comedy.
